Houskapreis 2026 - 3rd Place

AIT Austrian Institute of Technology won 3rd place at the Houskapreis 2026 by the B&C Group in the category Außeruniversitäre Forschung (Non-University Research) for the Green Manikin project, together with Jakob Carl Uhl, Helmut Georg Schrom-Feiertag, Markus Murtinger, Rodrigo Gutiérrez Maquilón, Richárd Révész, Lukas Kröninger, and Christine Wahlmüller-Schiller.

Green Manikin is an AI-powered mixed-reality training system for first aid and emergency response. The project combines real medical actions with virtual scenarios and AI-supported interaction, creating realistic training environments for emergency situations.
